Perfectly Imperfect

We are bullied many times because of imperfections and flaws.

May I ask then, how will you define perfection?

No one is perfect, I think most of us know this verse. Even the richest person in the world has there own imperfections, flaws, and weaknesses. We are surrounded by mean and toxic people every day, which make you question yourself “I’m not good enough”, “why they don’t like me”. At some point in our lives, we experienced low self-esteem because of this but we can still leave peacefully and happily even if we cannot please them or can’t be good enough to anyone’s standards. Do not let anyone’s opinion affect you, you know yourself better than them. No one is perfect, nothing in this world is perfect and remember that you are not obliged to be one.

I am one of the people who has been bullied for having flaws and blemishes on my skin. I learn to love and hate it at the same time. But, I’ve also learned to accept it. YES! we have flaws and in spite of having flaws, there’s a great person behind with lots to share of. Your flaws are temporary, your weaknesses can be turned to strength, your blemishes can be healed, learn to love yourself and be “flawsome”.

You’re not here to be perfect but need to be real. It’s okay that we have flaws and imperfections but it doesn’t define who we are. Just be yourself and I think that’s the prettiest thing you can be. Just embrace imperfections and learn from it.
